SOLD OUT - The Starfield Vineyards 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is crisp, fruit forward, balanced, and perfect for any occasion or hang out! This exquisitely bright and elegant Chardonnay is sourced from the Black Knight Vineyard, which spans a ridge just east of Petaluma on the Sonoma Coast. With its cool-climate influences, this Chardonnay has remarkable varietal intensity, balanced acidity, and mineral notes that complement the rich and full flavors.
This Sonoma Coast Chardonnay has beautiful and complex aromas of pineapple upside-down cake, red delicious apple, shredded coconut, kaffir lime leaf, and guava. On the palate, there are flavors of apple strudel, nutmeg, honey, quince paste, and passion fruit. The wine is full-bodied and creamy with a smooth, multi-layered, and lingering finish. The opulent flavors are well-balanced with refined acidity, allowing for a long, smooth finish that is framed beautifully by the lean minerality.
