Baking spices and brown sugar bring pecans to life in this recipe that we use to add the finishing touches on our Baked Pumpkin Spice Mochi Donuts. Make extra and serve them up in a dish at your next holiday gathering!
1 quarts chopped pecans
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 tbs vanilla paste
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon ground
- Preheat over to 300F
- Mix all ingredients except the pecans with whisk until smooth.
- Fold in the pecans.
- Line a sheet pan with a silpat and spread the mixture in an even layer.
- Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes until crispy.
- Let cool.
- Rough chop and store in airtight container.
