TASTING NOTES
Discover one of the finest Sierra Foothills red wines! Aglianico grapes originate from the mountains south of Naples, Italy, and do insanely well in the El Dorado AVA. The nose is layered and complex with cinnamon spice, smokey cedar, and star anise, complemented by elegant notes of cola nut, Maraschino cherry, and thyme. Hints of graham cracker crust develop as the wine opens in the glass. The palate is subtle and elegant, supported by a framework of tannins through the finish. Flavors of freshly picked blackberry and fig are present on entry, while subtle notes of red currant, hazelnut, clove, and oak lead to the balanced, lingering finish. In order to experience the true bold elegance of this wine, decant for 35-45 minutes before enjoying. Drink now through 2026.
